This page says what we collect, why, and what we do with it. Short version: we collect what we need to build your site, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

What we collect when you build your site

The questions at nitni.site/start ask about your business: its name, your name, your trade, the work you do, the towns you cover, your hours, your phone number, your email, and the .com you want. If you upload a logo or photos, we get those too. That is the material your website is made of, and that is why we ask.

Where it lives

• Your answers are stored in our records, which run on Google's servers.
• Your logo and photos are kept to build your site and are removed from our upload store within 30 days.
• Payment runs through PayPal. PayPal handles your card or bank details. We never see or store them. We receive only a subscription reference and its status.
• This site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs, like every host does.
• If you book a review call, the booking runs through Calendly and they process what you type into their booking page.

What we store in your browser

We use your browser's own storage for three things: saving your progress so you can come back and finish, remembering which version of this page you saw, and remembering which link brought you here. That is it for our own storage.

How we measure this site

We use a small set of measurement tools. They come in three kinds, and every tool we use fits one of them.

Counting tools record how many people visit and which steps of the sign-up they reach. They read counts and steps, never your answers.

Advertising pixels tell the platform that showed you an ad when someone starts the sign-up or subscribes, so we can tell whether the ad worked. These set cookies.

Hosting measurement is run by our host to measure page speed. No cookies.

The tools we use today: Google Analytics, PostHog, the Meta pixel, Cloudflare and a11y.nitni.site.

None of them ever receives your answers. Your business name, your trade, your phone number, your email and the .com you want go to our records and nowhere else. Your payment details never reach them, because PayPal handles those and we never see them. We never record your screen.

You can switch all of them off with your browser's own tracking protection or any ad blocker, and the sign-up will still work from start to finish.

If we add a tool, it will be one of these three kinds, and it will appear in the list above before it runs.

The map on the service-area step

When you type your town, the letters you type are sent to Photon, a free address-lookup service run by komoot, so we can suggest towns as you go. When you pick one, the satellite picture of it comes from Esri's World Imagery service. Both receive the town name and your browser's usual request details, nothing else from your answers. Neither sets a cookie for us. If either is unreachable, the step still works with a plain text box and a drawn map.

What we never do

• We do not sell your information. To anyone.
• We do not read the job requests that come through your finished website's contact form. Those go to you, not to us.
• We do not send you marketing texts.

How long we keep things

We keep your answers and account records while we work together, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back. Uploads clear out within 30 days as said above.

Your choices

Email [email protected] and you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We answer within five working days.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect or how we use it changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes before we do it.
